Exhibitor Rules and Information
Why Exhibit at the AEA Conference on Teaching and Research in Economic Education?
The 2025 National Conference on Teaching Economics (undergraduate, graduate levels) and Research in Economic Education (all levels, including precollege) will provide exhibitors with exposure to attendees who have a strong interest in teaching college economics. Many of these individuals teach large introductory economics courses, and teaching is the highest priority for virtually all of them.
Upon registration, you will receive your table number and the following information:
- Hotel's shipping information. Exhibitors are responsible for shipping and any storage fees.
- Staffing Registration Form and housing Information
- Rental Information such as audio/visual, internet, and electrical
- Schedule of events and sessions to know when to staff booths
Registration Fee: $1,750.00 includes
- Space with one draped table/two chairs & waste basket
- Two exhibitor registrations: Full breakfast for two days and one lunch.
- Additional Meeting space for Focus Groups or other meetings from Wednesday, 8am-1pm.
- Co-hosting one & half hour publisher reception
- Publisher listed in program with authors
- Space for book signings at reception
- Access to participant list prior to conference
- One page advertisement in the conference program - Send electronically to caylee.mccormick@vanderbilt.edu.

Important Dates
Exhibit set-up is May 28 from 7:00 am to 10:00 am in the ‘Mezzanine Foyer’ at The Westin Denver Downtown. This location will provide maximum opportunity for interaction with attendees throughout the conference. Dismantling may start any time after sessions end on May 30. Exhibitors must be out by 1:00pm on May 30.
The deadline to register is May 23, or until capacity has been reached.
The deadline to cancel registration is April 30; after this date, no refunds will be given. To cancel exhibitor registration, contact Caylee McCormick.
CTREE Registration and Exhibits will open on May 28 at 10:00 am.
CTREE Exhibitors agree not to arrange or host any events that conflict with the conference program.
CTREE Exhibitors are prohibited from sending emails to conference participants on-site during the conference.
Certificate of Insurance
Each Exhibitor must provide a certificate of insurance providing General Liability coverage including and extending through Exhibitor set-up & meeting dates (5/28/25 – 5/30/25) in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and naming ASSA as additional insured, or Exhibitor automatically forfeits their booth space and a refund will be issued.
Damage to Function Space
The Exhibit Vendor agrees to pay for any damage to the function space that occurs while the Vendor is using it. The Exhibitor Vendor will not be responsible, however, for ordinary wear and tear or for damage that it can show was caused by a person other than the Exhibit Vendor or its staff. The Hotel does not allow the affixing of anything to the walls, floors, or ceilings with nails, staples, push pins, tape or any other substance.
Liability
Exhibitor assumes entire responsibility and hereby agrees to protect, indemnify, defend and save the AEA and the Hotel and its employees and agents harmless against all claims, losses and damages to persons or property, arising out of or caused by exhibitor’s occupancy or use of the premises or a part thereof, excluding any such liability causes by the sole negligence of the Hotel, its employees and agents. In addition, Exhibitors acknowledge that the AEA and the Hotel do not maintain insurance covering Exhibitor’s property.
Guards
No guard service will be provided.
