New Lightning Round Sessions

The AEA is introducing 15 lightning round sessions to its program this year to shine a spotlight on many economic viewpoints, encourage conversation, and promote peer-to-peer networking. 

• Each session will focus on a general subject area and will be limited to 7-minute presentations by 10 speakers.
• Following each presentation, the session chair will moderate a brief audience Q&A.
• Planned topics for the sessions include:

  -Economics of Education
  -Economics of Higher Education
  -Empirical Development Economics
  -Environmental Factors in Financial and Real Outcomes
  -Health Economics
  -Health Policies
  -Industrial Organization
  -International Trade
  -Labor
  -Monetary Policy, Asset Prices, and the Macroeconomy
  -New Technologies and Innovation
  -Political Economy

These sessions will provide an interactive forum for offering insights and engaging in productive discussions.
